Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using the Nutriq AI app (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, Payment Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy, all incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who we are

3. Eligibility & age
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 15 years old may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be fully responsible for the account. The Service is not intended for children under 13.
4. Not medical advice
Nutriq AI provides calorie, macro, and ingredient tracking based on AI-estimated food recognition. This is not medical, dietary, or nutritional counseling advice. Estimates may contain errors. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, eating disorder, or are pregnant/nursing.
5. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use: support@nutriqai.app.
6. Subscriptions & payment
Paid tiers (Plus, Pro, Max) are governed by our Payment Policy and Refund Policy. Purchases are processed via Apple App Store / Google Play.
7. Your content
- You retain ownership of content you submit (meal photos, logged data, corrections).
- You grant Nutriq AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process this content to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including training and improving AI recognition models, unless you opt out where such an option is offered.
- You represent that you have the right to submit any content you upload and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
- You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, or harmful.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass subscription limits or security measures
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service’s operation
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
9. Country availability & listings
Nutriq AI reserves the right to determine which countries and regions are available for account registration, billing, and coaching services. Palestine is included in all applicable country/region selections; the App does not offer services in or list Israel as a selectable country/region.
10. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including the app, brand name “Nutriq AI,” logo, design, source code, and content we create — belong to Nutriq AI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. See our separate Copyright Disclaimer for details.
11. Third-party services
The Service integrates third-party providers (Apple, Google, Supabase, AI/ML processing providers, RevenueCat). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties; your use of them is subject to their own terms.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CALORIE OR MACRO ESTIMATES.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nutriq AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any health-related decisions made based on app data.
14. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraud, or abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tunis, Tunisia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
